<p>The handler fits a withdrawable sleeve on to a can. It consists of parallel sheets (3,5), each with a length equal to that of the sleeve (7). Some are carried by actuating cylinders (6) which move them perpendicularly. They move to a position in which the sheets form a surface below the can (4) cross section. They also form a surface above this section. The sheets are L-shaped and spaced by the length of a can side face. Others (5) are spaced by the length of the opposite can face. The sleeve is of synthetic material.</p> |
