The multi blade turbine rotates under light winds which do not provide sufficient energy to overcome the starting resistance of the large dia. turbine. An electronic automatic controller orients the cradle so the smaller dia. multi blade turbine faces the wind, and also controls a starter motor which, powered by the smaller turbine, provides the energy required to overcome the starting resistance of the main turbine. The generated energy from the turbines is stored in batteries or used to generate hydrogen by electrolysis of water.</p> |
