MAGNETIC RECORDER AND REPRODUCER

PURPOSE:To achieve a multi-functional device with each one set of a motor and a limiter, by providing a torque limiter between a motor and a driving wheel which contacts an idler selectively on a winding reel stand in synchronizing rotation with a reversible capstan motor. CONSTITUTION:A pinch roller 12 is driven with a capstan motor 18 which is reversible at a constant speed, and a magnetic tape 14 is wound on reel stands 34 and 36 by feeding the tape at a constant speed reversingly with a capstan axis 10. The rotation of a driving wheel 22 at almost equal distance from a pair of reel stands in synchronizing rotation with this motor is contacted with the reel stand where the tape is delivered at a constant speed for an idler 28 via driving drums 30 and 32 in response to the direction of rotation of the motor 18 selectively. The tape is wound on the reel stand at the delivered side with a torque limiter 24.
