PURPOSE:To achieve the perfect sealing without inclusion of the atmospheric air, to reduce the amt. of an inert gas and to reduce the size of a titled device by providing the ejection parts which flow the inert gas in the counter current, horizontal and parallel flow directions with respect to the molten steel in the inert gaseous jackets. CONSTITUTION:The inert gas supplied through a gas supply pipe 4 is exerted with the pressure uniformly over the entire part. The inert gas is injected uniformly by the slits for gaseous curtains of a horizontal injection plate 12 in the upper part consisting of a refractory porous material and a vertical injection plate 11 in the side part and a downward injection plate 15 of the similar construction from the entire surface thereof annularly in the counter current, the horizontal and parallel flow directions with respect to the flow down directions of the molten steel flow. It is flowed linearly by collars 13, 14. A downward slit 17 is provided to the plate 15 to prevent the oxidation of the molten metal in the tundish. |
