PURPOSE:To manufacture a nail having rustless head by uniting the side of a rustless metallic plate and a rusting metallic plate by welding, and after cutting it to a rod, forming the rustless metal part to the head and neck and rusting metal part to needle part. CONSTITUTION:A rusting metallic plate 8 is sent to a car roller through a roll expander 10 and a rustless metallic plate 9 is sent to the carrying roller 12 through a roll expander 11, and the two are piled and further sent to an automatic electric welding machine 14 through a pressure roller 13. The automatic electric welding machine 14 welds continuously the side of the rustless metallic plate 9 and rusting metallic plate 8 to make them one metallic plate. The metallic plate thus made to one sheet is sent to a cutter 15 and cut to a specified width and becomes rods. The rod is formed to a round rod by a correcting machine 16. It is further sent to a header 17, and the rustless metal part is formed to the head and neck parts and the rusting metal part to the needle part. |
