PURPOSE:To prevent reduction in thermal efficiency of steam turbine cycles by a method wherein steam to be supplied to shops at specified temperature is obtained by mixing high pressure steam at high temperature which is extracted from a high pressure turbine into steam at lower temperature than specified which is branched from low temperature reheating line. CONSTITUTION:After high pressure steam which has been heated by a steam heater 2 of a boiler 1 is introduced to a high pressure turbine 6 for work, that is reheated at a redheater 8 to send it through an intermediate pressure turbine 12 and a low pressure turbine 14 successively in order to operate a generator 15 with energy of the steam consumed. In such a setup, a factory steam piping 16 to transfer steam to shops is branched at a low temperature reheater 7 and, in addition, a high pressure extraction steam pipe 20 which is connected to an intermediate stage of the high pressure turbine 6 is connected to the factory steam piping 16. A steam control valve 22 is provided on the high pressure extraction steam pipe 20 for controlled operation by means of temperature sensor 18 which is installed on the steam piping 16. |
