PURPOSE:An ointment base for the skin, prepared by adding a very small amount of a perfume to incrustations of hot-spring water naturally occurring in large amounts and an extract of a plant of the genus aloe, capable of cleaning the surface of the skin in a short time, showing the skin beautifying effects, and preparable at a low cost without side effects. CONSTITUTION:An ointment base prepared by adding a very small amount of a perfume to a kneaded mixture of incrustations of hot-spring water with an extract from a plant of the genus Aloe. The resultant mixture prepared by kneading the incrustations of hot-spring water with the extract from a plant of the genus Aloe and vaseline is rubbed fully into an affected part of athlete's foot, insect bites, chilblain, cuts, hemorrhoids, etc. to alleviate the pain or itching. The surface of the skin is smoothed, and the skin beautifying effect can be produced by repeating the pack of the base diluted with a solvent, e.g. vaseline, on the roughened part of the skin, e.g. a pimple. EFFECT:The pharmacological effect of the hot spring is obtained at a low cost though indirectly. |
