Process and apparatus for the production of wind-round yarns

To produce wind-round yarns, a yarn core (2) is fed to the hollow spindle (3) via a delivery device (1). A bobbin having the winding-round yarn (5) rotates together with the hollow spindle. The yarn core thereby wound round with the winding-round yarn is drawn off by a second delivery device (8) and wound onto the bobbin (10). The hollow spindle and bobbin together with the winding-round yarn are surrounded by a stationary casing (6, 6a). For the easier exchange of the bobbin (5), the casing can be swung open and the hollow spindle, together with the mounting (4) and the bobbin of the machine, then removed.
