摘要 |
PURPOSE:To improve the manufacturing process and reliability of the positive electrode for a nonaqueous battery due to reduction of the cohesion of cupric oxide by adding the component is glaze used of pottery to the cupric oxide of the positive electrode and heat-treating them. CONSTITUTION:A positive electrode 1 is obtained by pressure-molding the positive electrode black mix consisting of cupric oxide serving as an active material in a battery case 2. A nonaqueous electrolytic battery is formed by providing a separator 3 on the positive electrode and sealing it through a gasket 6 using a sealing plate 4 in which a negative lithium sheet 5 is press-stuck. The cupric oxide of this positive electrode 1 is manufactured by adding glaze to the commercial cupric oxide powder of 2-5mu in particle diameter and heat-treating them (desirably for 1-8hr at 800-1,000 deg.C). It is recommended that a binary compound consisting of PbO, CaO, and SiO2 or a tertiary compound consisting of the binary compound and Al2O3 is used as this glaze. |
