PURPOSE:To completely remove the residual toner on an electrostatic latent image supporter, by distributing plural magnetic cleaning mechanisms along the said image supporter. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic cleaning mechanisms 12 and 13 are distributed along a photoreceptor 11 which functions as an electrostatic latent image supporter. The high-concentration part is removed first by the mechanism 12 for the residual toner 18 on the receptor 11. Then the remaining residual toner 18 the mechanism 12 could not remove is sent to the mechanism 13 via an AC high voltage corona charger 14. Thus the toner 18 on the receptor 11 can be completely removed by the mechanism 13. In such way, the toner having the high or low concentration can be perfectly removed. |
