发明名称 PRODUCTION OF GERMANIUM OXIDE-ANTIMONY OXIDE GLASS
摘要 PURPOSE:GeO2 and Sb2O3 are used as major components and further a specific amount of NH4HF2 are added; they are melted by heating to produce glass of high infrared transmittance, containing no crystalline substances and scarcely cords. CONSTITUTION:About 60pts.wt. of GeO2 and about 40pts. of Sb2O3 are mixed and 1-10pts. of NH4HF2 are added thereto. Then, they are melted and changed into glass by heating for enough time until NH4HF2 stops evolving its white fume. The resultant glass is colorless, transparent, free from crystals and homogeneous without cords, thus being suitably used as parts of optical instruments and optical transmission lines.
