PURPOSE:To enable to completely seal a spindle casing by independently placing the spindle casing and a main-body casing, in the titled spindle-driving mechanism for cutting a curved surface by oscillating a cutter spindle. CONSTITUTION:To a drive the spindle 32 to rotate, a driving shaft 34 is rotated and the rotation is trasmitted to the spindle 32 through the meshing of a driving bevel gear 35, the first bevel gear 37, the second bevel gear 38 and a bevel gear 39 for the spindle 32. When oscillating the spindle 32, a worm 45 is driven to rotate a central shaft 36 for oscillation, thereby oscillating spindle casing 40. The rotation and the oscillation of the spindle 32 can be carried out concurrently, and the curved surface can be cut. Accordingly, since the spindle casing 40 can be placed in a closed condition independently from the main-body casing 31, it is possible to completely seal a lubricating oil in the spindle casing 40. |
