PURPOSE:To prevent a thermal contraction crack and absorb an impact in a vehicle's lock member which is fit to a door or seat, by making holes or a groove in a synthetic resin slide face for noise suppression formed on the external surface steel plate. CONSTITUTION:In a lock member for a seat, a plate-like steel 8 in which a few recesses 6, 7 are formed at the front side catches a seat side projection 10. A synthetic resin coat 11 is formed on the external face of the steel plate 8 and holes 13 or a groove 14 for prevention of a crack caused by thermal contraction or absorption of an impact is made in the slide face 12. The holes 13 or the groove 14 is formed in a metal mold which is used for shaping the synthetic resin coat in the form of a solid body. |
