PURPOSE:To make easier the intermittent delivery of object to be driven as well as raise the accuracy of stopping position when stopping the object by using a system in which cams are carved on the surface of a cylinder cam to be turned intermittently and an object to be driven is moved or stopped by a cam floor coupled with said cam. CONSTITUTION:The rotation of a motor 1 is converted into an intermittent rotation through Geneva mechanism 2 and gear row 9, amplified, and transmitted to a cam cylinder 5 whose periphery is provided with carved groove or thread- shaped cam 5. A nest 3 on which a work is placed is moved along a guide (not illustrated) through a cam floor 6 coupled with the cam 5a. The cam 5a of the cam cylinder 5 is provided with a portion, or a stop portion, such that no propulsion of lead angle 0 deg. is produced only between angles alpha and beta at a rate of one time per two times' rotation of the cam cylinder. When the cam floor 6 is present in the stop portion, the stopping accuracy of the nest 3 can be raised by temporarily stopping the cam cylinder 5. |
