<p>A device for holding and applying liquid make-up comprises a combination of a reservoir and a cap with a spatula type applicator where the applicator is in the form of a spatula having at least two slots or cavities in which some of the liquid can be retained by capillary attraction. The slots or cavities may be linked by a relatively narrow or shallow channel. The spatula has a relatively narrow, radiused tip, for application of thin lines and used for decoration near eyes. The recesses can accommodate sufficient of the (coloured) liquid to complete a normal decorating pattern with a single loading of oil. The spatula may be moulded from a natural or synthetic rubber, pref. with an integral collar to support the spatula body against a seat on a hollow adaptor within the reservoir body.</p> |
