PURPOSE:To prevent the production of transverse stripe-like noises on a developing roller in the stage of coating a one component magnetic toner on the developing roller with a magnetic brush roller by performing this by deviating the stopping and the starting of the revolution of the developing roller and the magnetic brush roller. CONSTITUTION:A one component magnetic toner 4 is supplied onto a magnetic roll 2, and the magnetic brush formed by this is brought into contact with a developing roller 3, so that the magnetic toner is stuck and coated by electrostatic force on the developing roller. To stop the development, first the revolution of the roller 2 is stopped, and after, for example, 0.5sec, the roller 3 is stopped. To start the development, the roller 3 is first started, then the revolution of the roller 3 is started. Thereby, the generation of the flocculation of the transverse stripe-like developer in the coated part A at the time when both rollers stop and start revolving simultaneously. |
