This controller is used for controlling slow process-engineering processes. By largely decoupled ajustability of the controller parameters and avoiding integral saturation, the invention intends to simplify the controller operation, to decrease the component expenditure and power consumption and to increase the reliability. According to the invention, the time constants (TN and TV) of the controller are controlled simultaneously in relation to one another by a keying generator, control logic consisting of optocoupler and transistor electronically switching between integral charging and delayed discharging. The invention can be used in all appropriate process-engineering BMSR processes. <IMAGE>
