<p>Cyclodextrin clathrate compounds of sulfur-containing compounds represented by the general formula (I):$(5,)$ wherein A represents a straight or branched lower alkylene group, R1 represents hydrogen or a lower alkyl group, R2 represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, phenyl, phenyl-substituted lower alkyl, hydroxyphenyl-substituted lower alkyl, hydroxy-substituted lower alkyl, amino-substituted lower alkyl, guanidino-substituted lower alkyl, imidazolyl-substituted lower alkyl, indolyl-substituted lower alkyl, mercapto-substituted lower alkyl, or lower alkyl-thio lower alkyl or, R?1 and R2¿, taken together, form a pyrrolidine ring, thiazolidine ring, or a pyrrolidine or thiazolidine ring substituted by phenyl, substituted phenyl or pyridyl, with the substituent of said substituted phenyl being hydroxy, lower alkoxy, halogen, nitro or sulfamoyl, and R3 represents hydrogen or $(5,)$ with said lower alkyl group and lower alkoxy group containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and the salts thereof which show pharmacological effects such as hypotensive effect.</p> |
