PURPOSE:To prevent any liquid splashing, hich might be caused when an encircling case is lifted up from washing liquid, by installing a receiving plate, which moves up and down in accordance with the movement of a rate-of-climb device working in immersing the encircling case into the washing liquid, within a case containing the washing liquid. CONSTITUTION:A case 21 contains a washing liquid 29, and can be moved up and down by means of a rate-of-climb device 27. One end of each of a plural number of springs 22 is fixed to the bottom surface of the case 21, and the other end is fixed to the back surface of the slant side part of a funnel-like receiving plate 23 so that the plate 23 installed in the case 21 is movable up and down. When a panel 1 is sent and held stationary over the case 21 by means of a transfer device 26, the case 21 rises, and the opening end of the panel 1 moves the plate 23 downward to make the panel 1 to be immersed in the washing liquid 29. When the case 21 is moved down after the washing of the panel 1, the spring 22 is extended, and the panel 1 the opening end of which touches the plate 23 is lifted up. By the means mentioned above, any unnecessary liquid which might drop from the opening end of the panel 1 can be prevented from dropping directly into the washing liquid 29, and the splashing of the liquid 29 can be prevented. |
