In the bubble-cassette memory (12) control system, when writing data into the bubble-cassette memory (12), each file of data is divided into several blocks (BH,BI,...BE). A control-byte (CB) is inserted at the leading position of each block, a control-information is written in each control-byte, and a control-information is written on each control-byte indicating if the block belonging to that control-byte is the lead block (BH) of a file. The data is stored in the bubble-cassette memory (12) in the units of one block, and, in addition, a data-end block (DEB) is written after the final file. This controlling system makes it possible to search a desired file while monitoring the content of the control-information and to search a position for writing a new file.
|
