PURPOSE:To regulate the quantity of unnecessary deviation of a moving material such as an original table, by controlling the release of engagement synchronously with driving of the moving material. CONSTITUTION:When a solenoid 42 is excited synchronously with the start of movement of an original table and an optical system, a pawl 55 of a detaining pawl device falls to release the engagement with a receiving part, and a spring clutch is connected through a clutch control ring 33 and etc. to move the original table and etc., thus performing exposure or the like. Meanwhile, when the copying operation is not performed or the copying machine main body is opened for maintenance or the like, the pawl 55 rises through a spring 58 to engage with the receiving part, and the quantity of unnecessary deviation of the moving material such as the original table is regulated surely. |
