In a steering wheel which can be locked with a bolt, the hub consisting of pressure diecasts is constructed on the steering wheel column side in a pot shape, its flange running concentrically to the steering wheel column being provided on the inside circumference with axially extending grooves for the engagement of the locking bolt. In order to reduce the manufacturing outlay, the grooves are sealed up to the level of the webs lying between them by means of a pressure diecast wall connected in one piece to the flange of the hub.
