PURPOSE:To facilitate the length reduction and axial alignment of a detector and to connect both kinds of flange and insert type detectors,by forming large diameter parts each having an outer diameter almost equal to that of a partener flange to both end parts of a measuring pipe so as to provide difference in level. CONSTITUTION:Large diameter parts 13 each having an outer diameter almost equal to that of each of partener flanges 2 are formed to both end parts of a measuring pipe 12 and holes 14 for connection bolts for inserting a predetermined number of the connection bolts of the partener flange 2 are provided on each of the large diameter parts 13 so as to become respectively coaxial between the large diameter parts 13. Further, a cavity is provided on the outer peripheral surface of each of the large diameter parts 13 so that the radius axial line of each large diameter part 13 crossing the axial line of each hole 4 for the connection bolt at a right angle at the position spaced apart by a predetermined distance from the end surface of the large diameter part 13 on the connection side thereof in the pipe axial direction becomes the axis of said cavity. The cross-sectional shape of the cavity is set to a value obtained by adding an allowance dimension to the thickness of the nut screwed on the connection bolt and the dimension thereof in the direction right-angled to the pipe axial direction in a value calculated by adding a minute allowance dimension to the opposite side distance of the nut. Further, the cavity has a depth extended by the value obtained by adding an allowance dimension to 1/2 the orthogonal distance of the nut toward the axis of each large diameter part 13.
