<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an automatic answering telephone set which never interrupts a message by providing a device which detects the remaining amount of a message tape. CONSTITUTION:A detector 2 for the remaining amount of a tape detects the remaining amount of the message tape. Since the rotation of the rotary shaft of a tape take-up side becomes slower as the remaining amount of the tape decreases, this is utilized for the detection of the remaining amount of the tape. A controller 3 stops a tape driver once the rotation of the rotary shaft reaches a prescribed value, thereby dedicating an automatic answering telephone set to answering. Thus, a message is prevented from being interrupted.</p> |
