A flat-type filtration apparatus for receiving a flat filter plate (1) is composed of a housing top (2) and a housing bottom (3) having an inlet (5) and an outlet (6) and has a filter support (7, 7') in each housing part, which can be coupled to the assigned housing part (2, 3) with the aid of lugs (8, 8') engaging in a circular groove (12, 12'). The edge of the circular filter support serving as a coupling is, at the same time, designed as a shaped ring seal (13) against the assigned housing part (2 or 3) and against the flat filter plate (1). The ring seal (13) is part of a moulded plastic part (16) which is also provided with the radially projecting lugs (8) which correspond with appropriately shaped recesses (18) of an undercut or groove (12) of the assigned housing part (2, 3) and fix the filter support (7, 7') by a slight turn of this in the direction of the axis of rotation.
