摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a manipulator with a simple construction with the grasping arm opened or closed by a mechanical mechanism utilizing lowering and advancing action of a support body eqripped with a pair of grasping arms. CONSTITUTION:When a cylinder is driven to lower a support body 4 with a carriage C located at a standby position of work, brought into contact with a contact element 40, a lever 30 is turned counterclockwise whereby a connection member 12 is raised through an engaging pin 32. Consequently, an actuation rod 9 is elevated against a spring 11 causing grasping arms 20 and 21 to be closed through a holding member 15. In this manner, the work W is grasped. In this process, the connection member 12 is brought up to a point where a hook 35 of a rolling arm is engaged compressing the spring 13. Thereafter, when the support body is raised by the cylinder 2, the work W move up as clamped.
