PURPOSE:To have secure and well-separated feed of paper sheets in a copying machine etc. to the last sheet loaded, by such a construction that a longer guide plate is laid between the sheet loading means and sheet feeding roller, nearer the loaded sheets, so that the free end can attain the feed roll contact point or its adjacency. CONSTITUTION:Upper part 4a of a guide plate 4 is fixed to the guide plate mounting groove 18 provided at a part of the sheet loading means, where the free end 4b shall be so arranged as dangling to the contact point 10 of regular and reverse rollers 8, 9 or its adjacency. In this case, the length of the guide plate 4 is set larger than the distance between the mounting groove 18 and contact point 10. Accordingly, rotation of the regular rotating roller 8 will carry the free end 4b to the contact point or its adjacency, and the guide 14 covers the reverse roller 9. Thus the leading edge 19a of the last sheet 19 is moved in the direction of feeding securely by rotation of the regular roller 8, so that the reverse roller 9 does never affect the sheet with its reverse transporting effect. Thus the sheets can be fed securely to the last one. |
