PURPOSE:To improve the utilization of active substance by spraying the sodium carbonate onto the plate face filled with the lead battery paste with high speed then burrying and eluding the crystal particle during the formation to provide the porous performance. CONSTITUTION:The positive pole paste having the density of 4.3g/cm<3> is filled in a grid having the thickness of 3mm., then the sodium carbonate crystal of about 2% against the filling amonut having the grain diameter of 0.2-0.5mm. is sprayed with high speed onto both faces of the filled plate through the sand blast to burry the crystal particle into the paste. Thereafter the curing and the formation are applied to elude the burried sodium carbonate crystal particle during the formation thus to obtain a formed plate. Then it is combined with the negative pole plate to assemble a battery. Consequently many uniform voids can be formed in the surface of the formed plate resulting in the improvement of the utilization of the active substance more than 20% than conventional one. |
