PURPOSE:To realize a data processor of high performance making use of inexpensive and low-speed elements under the control of microprogram, by selecting a control field. CONSTITUTION:Plural control fields F1-F5 are set to the same microprogram word for the same function part in a microprogram controller. The selection is decided for a control field suited to the status at a time point when the microprogram word is read out to a microprogram word register 16. As a result, a high-speed process is made possible by making use of the low-speed memory element and logic element. |
