PURPOSE:To enable every defect of marked parts to be securely detected by counting the number of detects which are given by judging marked parts by means of a marked-parts discriminating circuit, and discrimination disorders according to the counted value by means of a marked-parts states discriminating circuit. CONSTITUTION:An image sensor 3 is placed so that it faces to a fluorescent lamp 1 along the central axis of the sensor 3. Picture image signals sent from the sensor 3 are amplified with an amplifier 4, and are converted into digital signals by means of an A/D converter 5. Next, thus output image signals are sampled in a defect discriminating circuit 6, and defect signals are output by comparing the levels of the above image signals with level of the tolerance range of good articles. Then, the number of defect signals output from the circuit 6 is counted with a first binary counter 8. After that, the counted value is checked with an upper and a lower limit detector 16 and 18, whether it is above or below the value sent by an upper and a lower limit setting device 15 and 17, and an unusual appearance detection signal S1 and an unusual mark detection signal S2 are output. Thus, a marked-parts states discriminating circuit is constituted of the detectors 16 and 18 and the setting devices 15 and 17. |
