PURPOSE:To make a magnetic head small-sized, and also to realize its mass production, by working in advance a projecting part used as a shielding core, and a hole on a mask blok, by fitting a chip core block in an idle state into the hole so that the projecting part used as a shielding core by the chip block, and dissolving and solidifying a nonmagnetic substance. CONSTITUTION:On a mask block 6 consisting of a magnetic substance, which is to be a magnetic mask core, a hole 22 for placing a chip core block 17 is provided, and the chip core block 17 is fitted into the hole 22 in an idle state. Between the first part 20a and the second part 20b of the chip core block 17, a shielding core 24 on which a thermal resistance painting material 23 has been applied like an island or a dot is placed, a nonmagnetic substance 7 consisting of glass or resin, etc, is made to flow in and is solidified, and the mask block 6, the chip core block 17 and the shielding core 24 are formed in one body. Subsequently, a chip block 25 is formed by cutting said body along chain lines 10, 11. Since the thermal resistance painting material 23 is applied on the shielding core, it does not occur that the shielding core contacts with the chip core and the cores are short-circuited. |
