PURPOSE:To stabilize the valve opening action of a fuel injection valve singularly mounted to a suction pipe gathering section, by stabilizing supported state of a valve body. CONSTITUTION:When an electromagnetic current is not passed through a coil 16 wound around a bobin 17 in a york 1, a ball 8 of the valve body 9 is in close contact with a valve seat 11 by the pushing action of a spring 13 to close a nozzle 10. A stopper 3 is made to be thick, and is formed with a large diameter bore part 22 having a diameter equal to or greater than one half of the thickness of the stopper 3, and the rod 6 of the valve body 9 is elongated, and is provided with a large diameter short section 12 under a flange 7, the large diameter section 12 being welded to the ball 8. According to this arrangement, as the distance from the ball 8 and the support 21 for the stopper 3 becomes longer than the conventional one, the oscillations will be reduced when the valve body 9 is moved, and it is stabilized. Further, as the ball 8 is welded to the very thin and large diameter section 12, the welded area is large and it is securely welded, and in addition, the weight of the valve body 9 would not te increased. |
