A method of exploiting and utilising animal manure operates with anaerobic fermentation with continuous agitation, sepn. of the fermented material into liq. and solid fractions for use as fertiliser, and the prodn. of biogas. Before anaerobic fermentation, the manure is subjected to decompression treatment, anaerobic fermentation is then carried out with controlled prodn. of vacuum, the biogas and other components contg. nitrogen and carbon from the air in the animal stalls, and from the liq. manure fraction are used as trophic elements for a culture medium in the aerobic process; here they are subjected to processing by prototrophic bacteria and the biomass obtd. is disintegrated and used as a fodder. The gas given off after the prototrophic bacteria treatment is used as energy carrier in the anaerobic fermentation system and the fermented material, before being sepd. into fractions, is precipitated by a mineral-organic suspension. Pref. prototrophic bacteria used in the arobic process are: methilococcus capsulatus, methilosinus trichosporium, methilosinus sporium. Used for recycling and utilising to the maximum extent, as fodder or fertiliser, the waste prods. from animal husbandry in combination with energy saving.
