PURPOSE:To reduce deformation of a differential gear case, by arranging a final gear side bearing of the two bearings, supporting the differential gear case, between the internal periphery of an almost truncated cone shaped final gear mounting part and a transmission case. CONSTITUTION:A differential gear case 21 consists of a main unit part 21a and a final gear mounting part 21b, extending from the main unit part to almost truncated cone shape, and a final gear 30, transmitted with power from a speed change mechanism part 31 through an idler gear 32, is mounted by a bolt 29 to an end part of said mounting part 21b. The differential gear case 21 is rotatably supported by two bearings 37, 38 to a transmission case 39 and a bearing retainer 40, partially constituting said case 39. The bearing 38 at the side of said final gear 30 is arranged between the internal peripheral part of said mounting part 21b and the bearing retainer 40, so that the differential gear case 21 can not be affected by the gear 30 even if applied with a large load. |
