A door-moving device is proposed in which an emergency valve (17) is provided with a lock (bar 20). Both working chambers (5, 6) of the working cylinder (4) which actuates the door (1) can be depressurised by means of the emergency valve (17) and the door can be actuated manually. The re-actuation of the pneumatic door movement can be carried out by the driver by means of a switch (23). So that the door (1) is not moved violently, a switching device (13) is used which is firstly effective in a choked manner but then allows the full pressure to pass to the working cylinder (4).
