In a bending machine for the roll-bending of sheet-metal blanks, in particular for the production of mudguards of approximately U-shaped cross-section and shallow rims along the longitudinal edges, a sheet-metal blank passes through three axially parallel rolls, one of which is adjustable in controlled fashion for adaptation to the intended curvature. A profiled top roll (4) and a bottom roll (5) matched to the latter together form a driven roll pair arranged vertically one above the other. Provided on both sides of the roll pair there is in each case a non-driven bending roll (23; 24) adjustable relative to the roll pair. By reversing the direction of rotation of the driven roll pair, the blank is passed one or more times backwards and forwards through the roll pair to form the finished mudguard, additional support being provided during this process by one of the bending rolls (23; 24). <IMAGE>
