PURPOSE:To make the system advantageous in respect to flexibility and cost, by controlling plural memory units, which consist of elements different in scale and internal constitution, by a common control part. CONSTITUTION:A control part 12 which controls the timing of driving pulses is provided in common for plural memory units 23 and 24, and information indicating internal constitutions of elements constituting memory units 23 and 24 are stored in elements themselves of memory units 23 and 24. At the access time, information indicating the internal constitution is read out from an accessed element of the unit, and the timing of driving pulses is converted on the basis of this information to control memory units 23 and 24. |
