PURPOSE:To enable to perform a running test for less difference between an actual car speed and a target car speed, by a method wherein the actual car speed is caused to approximate to a target car speed pattern. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 3 performs a replacing operation which regulates a pedalling amout of an accelerating pedal and a rotation speed of an electric power absorbing part 7 so that a suction pipe negative pressure and a car speed, detected by sensors 11, 20, are equalized to data recorded in a recorder 2 in an actual running. A power absorbed by the electric power absorbing part 7 during the replacing operation is found from an armature current by a current measuring amplifier 27, and an inertia resistance, born by the electric power absorbing part 7, is found from a car speed via a differentiator 23 and a factor device 24 to compute a difference between the two outputs by a reducer 28 to store it in the CPU 3. In a durable running test, a power, wherein an inertia resistance, actually born by the electric power absorbing par 7, of car inertia resistances due to an inertia mass is added to the difference, is controlled so that it is absorbed by the electric power absorbing part 7. |
