PURPOSE:To prepare a feed composition which can be stored for a long period without causing browning reaction, by coating amino acid with natural mucous substance. CONSTITUTION:Particles of amino acids having a diameter of 50-150mu are coated with a natural mucous substance such as dextrin,gelatin, gum arabic, etc. The amount of the mucous substance is 1-15wt%, pref. 2-5wt% of the amino acid, and its thickness is usually about 0.2-0.5mum. The coating of the amino acid particle can be carried out, e.g. by adding water to glycine and a natural mucous substance (1-15wt% of the glycine), and spraying the solution into a heated vacuum tank to effect the dehydration and drying, or by spraying 10- 20wt% solution of natural mucous substance to the outer surface of glycine particles, and drying the solution. |
