PURPOSE:To simplify a circuit and to provide a small-sized position detector, by a method wherein a phase of a signal of a horizontal and vertical loop antenna of a moving object running on a transposition tye inductive radio line is processed directly by a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:A transposition tye inductive ratio line 1 is set along a trace whereon a moving object moves, and a transmitter 2 transmits a high-frequency signal. Horizontal and vertical loop antennas 3 and 4 are secured to the moving object. If the constitution of the antenna is selected appropriately, the level of the receiving signal of the vertical antenna is brought to V=K3sinpix/L, and that of the horizontal antenna is set to H=K4cospix/L. After passing through gates 13 and 14 are opened and closed by means of a time division signal 16 from a microcomputer 15, the receiving level of each antenna is read in a time division manner as a digital amount into the microcomputer via a filter 7, a saturation amplifier 9, and an AD converter. x/L is obtained by computing tan<-1>V/H. Said L is a distance between cross points of the line, and x is a distance from the cross point of the moving object. |
