PURPOSE:To secure the time sequence property of a call, by selecting a channel of a delivery highway so that the time sequence of a channel on an entry highway can be maintained, when selecting a delivery channel for a multi-slot call. CONSTITUTION:A connection control device 218 of a switch unit reads an address corresponding to a multi-slot call which has arrived in a channel of call memories 202, 208, and searches from a busy idle table of a channel in its own memory as to whether an idle channel exists or not in a delivery highway. After it has been detected, the device 218 connects the channels of the input/output highways in accordance with the sequence, by rewriting the contents of holding memories 214, 216 for storing an address information from a timing controlling circuit 217 and the device 218. |
