PURPOSE: To prevent any creeping discharge which might be caused between nail-like pieces, which are provided in order to make cathodes and a first to a sixth grid to be supported with insulating supporting bars, by attaching the nail-like pieces to the grids with given positional relation so as to make the pieces to be spaced at large intervals. CONSTITUTION:Cathodes and the first to the sixth grids of an electron gun for a color image receiving tube are arranged and fixed by buring the nail-like pieces of these grids into insulating supporting bars 70. Here, the third grid 30 and the fifth grid 50 are provided with two pairs of nail-like pieces 32, 33 and 52, 53, respectively, so that the distance between the nails 32 and 33 (or 52 and 53) becomes (l4). On the other hand, the fourth grid 40 is provided with nail-like pieces 42 and 43 so that (l3), the distance between the pieces 42 and 43, is sufficiently smaller than (l4). As a result, the distance between the nail-like pieces of the third and the fifth grids 30 and 50 and those of the fourth grid 40 can be made enough large, any creeping discharge which might be caused between these pieces can be prevented, and any influence on an integrated circuit or the like can be prevented. |
