PURPOSE:To widen the range where the difference of a reproduction voltage of two types of signals is linear and to keep the sum of the reproducing voltages constant over a track width, by forming a sector signal superimposingly through the movement of a data head in a pitch less than the core width. CONSTITUTION:A signal A is written in a sector region by uding a data head 1, a signal B is written in the pitch of TW/2 a half the track width smaller than the core width CW of the head 1, and the signals A, B are written in superimposingly. The head 1 is shifted in the pitch of TW/2 a half the track width and the signal B is written in, to avoid the non-signal region due to the difference between the track pitch and the core width, allowing to widen the range where the difference of reproduced voltages of two types of signals is linear and to keep the sum of the reproduced voltage constant over the track width entire range. |
