发明名称 APPARATUS FOR MEASURING CONCENTRATION AND CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF HYDROGEN ISOTOPE
摘要 PURPOSE:To measure the concentration and the chemical composition of light water, heavy water, and tritium water, by atomizing sample water, reacting the mist with reacting gas, thereafter separating and analyzing the reacting gas. CONSTITUTION:An atomizing device 2 has an ultrasonic wave oscillator 12 which is provided in a container 10. The ultrasonic wave oscillator 12 adjusts the diameters of the particles of the mist by changing the oscillating frequency. A reacting gas flowing pipe 20 is attched to the container 10. The upper surface of the container is connected to a reacting device 4 through an effluent pipe 22 which is an effluent path of the mixture of the mist and reacting gas. The reacting device 4 has hydrophobic catalyst 26 wherein platinum is supported as catalyst metal at a supporting rate of 0.5wt% and isotope exchanging reaction is performed. The reacting gas is introduced to a quantitative gas analyzing device 8 after the separation in a sepatating device 6. When signal from the analyzing device 8 and equilibrium constant are used, the concentration and the chemical composition of the hydrogen isotope in the sample water can be accurately measured.
