PURPOSE:To improve surface roughness and gloss of the finished surface by arranging rotating shaft of the conical roller in the direction to cross with the direction of the rotating shaft of the mandrel and make the side face of the conical roller pressed to the work. CONSTITUTION:The rotary shaft 6 of the conical roller 5 is arranged to cross with the direction of the rotary shaft of the mandrel 1, and the outer surface of the roller 5 is moved parallel to the rotary shaft direction of the mandrel 1, and moved perpendicular to the shaft of the mandrel 1. Namely, the side face of the work 2 is pressed to the circumference of the mandrel 1 so as to roll it around said circumference, while the roller 5 is swung, and finish to the glossy surface. By this operation gloss after finish is improved in comparison to the conventional roller device which is operated only with rolling contact. |
