PURPOSE:To obtain a recording device having a recording function for recording media of many kinds although it is small-sized and constituted inexpensively by making thermal printing and flash fixation on the printing-recording layer of a recording medium and thereby recording magnetically a machine-read information on the magnetic recording layer of the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:The recording media P1 and P2 having the printing-recording layer on one surface and the magnetic recording layer on the other surface respectively are supplied through supplying routes 6 and 11 which join at the terminal part thereof and a visual information is printed thermally on the printing- recording layer by a thermal printing device 17. Next, after the visual information on the printing-recording layer is fixed thereon by a flash fixation device 24, the machine-read information is recorded magnetically on the magnetic recording layer by a magnetic recording device 25. |
