NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formulaI(R1 is F, CF3; R2 is H, halogen, CF3) and its salt. EXAMPLE: 3-Amino-3'-fluoro-4-methoxy-benzanilide. USE:Anti-inflammatory, analgesic: it is weak in acute toxicity. PREPARATION:For example, the reaction of 2-methoxy-5-carboxynitrobenzene with an aniline derivative of formula II gives a compound of formula III. The reaction is effected in a solvent such as toluene in the presence of a condensation reagent such as phosphorus oxychloride. Then, the compound of formula III is reduced to give the compound of formulaI. |
