PURPOSE:To increase the cleaning efficiency of latent image forming surface, by oscillating a large number of fur body for brushing and cleaning the latent image forming surface by means of an accelerating member for the oscillation. CONSTITUTION:A fur brush roller 6 of which furs 7 are supported vibratory on a cylinder 8 at the circumference of a photoreceptor 1 with an elastic member 10 is located so that a large number of furs 7 are slid on the surface of photoreceptor 2. A roller 11 as an accelerating member is provided at the inner circumference of the cylinder 8 so that it rotates reverse to the cylinder 8 and in a different speed. Since a plurality of grooves 12 are provided at the external circumference of the roller 11, the furs 7 slide over the photoreceptor surface 2 while oscillating and development agent attached to the surface is removed by the roots of the furs 7 projecting the inner circumference of the cylinder 8 and the roots are so arranged that they are able to come out and to draw back in the grooves 12 accompanied with the rotation. |
