<p>The procedure is used for conduits such as pipelines and consists of preparing identical sections of conduit having at least two coaxial tubes fitted one inside each other over the major part of their length for storage and transport. On site the tubes are slid axially until they are end to end and then they are joined together. The sections are truncated with the same summit angle, and the tube of smallest section has a large base radius greater than the small base radius of the larger section tube.</p> |
