PURPOSE:To realize the use of a common liquid crystal display cell even for an Li battery, by combining a specific voltage reducing circuit using the divided voltage of a cpacitor and a specific boosting circuit using a capacitor in order to ovtain the optional voltage. CONSTITUTION:A voltage reducing circuit 7 reduces the voltage of a battery 1 down to 1/2 with use of two capacitors 7a and 7b. A boosting circuit 5 which performs the 1.5-fold boosting, consists of a main capacitor 6, two secondary capacitors 6a and 6b plus a switch group that switches the connection between the above-mentioned capacitors so that the secondary capacitors are connected in parallel and in series to each other when the capacitor 6 is connected to capacitors 6a and 6b in series and in parallel, respectively. For instance, 1.5V, 3V and 4.5V can be obtained from a 3V-Li battery. |
